Rotaract was founded to develop effective leaders and promote responsible citizenship. As our generation plays a growing role in directing the affairs of this community, it is important that our members be well-positioned to accept the challenge of helping Birmingham reach its potential of becoming a world-class city. We believe for those who are led to think boldly and affect real change, Rotaract provides the premier leadership development opportunity.

Rotaract attracts Birmingham's talented young professionals who have already been recognized for demonstrating intelligence, proven work ethic, integrity, and capacity for leadership. Our organization offers BirminghamÕs promising young professionals a forum to better understand and promote the characteristics of responsible citizenship and effective leadership. We do this by interacting with our communityÕs leaders, networking with other young professionals, and reacting to the community service needs of the metro area.
